Many times we hear individuals tout, “The only thing that matters is the heart!” While the statement in and of itself is true, the intent behind the statement is often misleading. Many times the insinuated message means, “Don’t hold me accountable because you can’t see the intent of my heart!” However, since life responses mirror attitudes of the heart, it’s important that we condition ourselves with personal worship and communion with God. Men who make this their life motif are equally concerned that their heart reflects their walk.
